Coffee America’s Favorite Drink
Americas coffee consumption is steady, according to Gallup news 26% of Americans have at least one cup of coffee a day.
Coffee starts out as green unprocessed beans which then get roasted.
Roasting coffee transforms the physical and chemical properties, giving it a distinct taste however some of the health benefits are slightly reduced.
Green Coffee is rich in antioxidants.
Antioxidants protect the body from damaged harmful molecules known as free-radicals.
The green unprocessed coffee beans are abundant with 100% Pure Chlorogenic Acid, this antioxidant has a few health benefits that vary from balancing cholesterol levels, to aiding in the fat burning process.
1. Green Coffee has anti-aging properties
As you grow older the harmful effects of the sun start to take a toll on your skin. By the process of photoaging the skin takes damage from the ultraviolet radiation (UV).
As a consequence the skin starts to develop fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin and discoloration.
Chlorogenic Acid among other ingredients found in green coffee beans has shown to scientifically improve and rejuvenate skin.
One study of treated subjects experienced significant improvements in the appearance of wrinkles, firmness, redness, and texture of facial skin.*
2. Helps with weight loss and burning fat.
This could have very well been a Green Coffee Weight Loss Review because of the effect Green Coffee has in the fat burning process. Some of the antioxidants found in green coffee extracts are believed to affect the way the body stores fat.
Once again Chologenic acid plays an important role here, for it is thought to block fat accumulation, regulate post meal sugar levels, reduce carb absorption and therefore boosting the fat burning process.
Sugars (glucose) turn to fat if there are high amounts in the bloodstream. Green Coffee slows down the release of sugar into the bloodstream.
This in turn blocks and slows down the natural process of storing sugar as fat.
Green coffee has been found to stop deposits of new fat in the body.
3. Green Coffee Extracts Helps keep cholesterol levels in check
LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) cholesterol also known as the “bad” cholesterol is known to be responsible for a plethora of cardiovascular issues. At high levels it collects on the walls of blood vessels where it causes blockages.Eventually a blockage can lead to a heart attack.
Regular consumption of Green Coffee Extracts contain powerful agents that reduce cholesterol (LDL).
4. Mental Alertness
This is by far the most obvious and instant benefit of coffee. Green coffee contains caffeine, the very chemical that some people need just to function now a days.
Caffeine increases focus and alertness, boosting your energy to keep you going through the day.
There are a few other benefits of caffeine. A new John Hopkins University study showed that a 200 mg consumption of caffeine helped with memory consolidation, therefore improving memory (,1).
5. Appetite Suppressant
Among many of the other benefits that were mentioned about Chlorogenic Acid, one of them is the ability to suppress the appetite. Researchers at Griffith University dug a little deeper into this topic.
They conducted a study on how caffeinated drinks affected those who drank a cup of coffee vs those who did not, It was concluded that coffee drinkers feel less hungry throughout the day.
Apart from suppressing appetite it also speeds up the metabolism. In a study published in the Journal of Clinical Nutrition it revealed that a dose of caffeine will increase the metabolic rate by 3-11% (,2).
There are a few Green Coffee Extracts out in the market today. In order to ensure you get only the best I reccomend that they meet the following criteria.
1. MADE FROM 100% PURE GREEN COFFEE BEANS
2. IT CONTAINS AT LEAST 50% CHLOROGENIC ACID FROM [GCA] GREEN COFFEE ANTIOXIDANT EXTRACT.
3. EACH SERVING CONTAINS 500-800 mg
Here is one of my favorite recommended products that meets the criteria
